Introducing Auditer: your TallyPrime books on the web and on your phone
Auditer puts your TallyPrime books on the web and your phone, lets staff create entries that post back into Tally, and helps with GST work. How it works.

Today we are launching Auditer, a web portal and mobile app for businesses that keep their books in TallyPrime. Auditer shows your Tally companies on the web and on Android and iOS phones, lets your team create entries that go back into TallyPrime, sends payment reminders, and prepares GST work from the same books. It is for owners, accountants, sales and store staff, and the CAs who work with them. You can start today on the web portal at app.auditer.com or in the mobile app.
Why we built it
In most Indian businesses, TallyPrime sits on one PC in the office, and the business moves around it.
- Owners wait for numbers. A steel trader in Bengaluru wants the bank balance before he commits to a purchase. He calls his accountant, who is busy with GST returns, and gets the figure an hour later. Or he drives to the office to look himself.
- Staff enter sales twice. A sales executive takes an order at a hardware shop in Mysuru, writes it in a diary and phones it in. The invoice is made in the evening, and the goods leave the next day.
- Compliance keeps getting tighter. E-invoices, e-way bills, GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and matching purchases with GSTR-2B all have dates, and most of the data for them is already in TallyPrime.
TallyPrime does its job well at the desk. We wanted the same books to reach the people who are not at the desk, without changing how the accountant works.
What Auditer does
- Shows your books: dashboards for cash, bank, receivables, payables, sales, purchases, profit and loss, balance sheet, trial balance, cash register and day book. AI insights narrate the month’s numbers in plain language.
- Lets your team create entries: sales invoices, orders, delivery notes, credit and debit notes, receipts, payments, journals, contra, expenses, stock transfers and adjustments, and party and stock masters. All of them are written back into TallyPrime.
- Helps you collect: payment reminders by WhatsApp, email or SMS, before, on or after the due date, which stop when the bill is paid.
- Handles GST work: e-invoices and e-way bills; GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B prepared from the books and compared with the portal; GSTR-2B matching; IMS actions; and a due-date calendar. The Owner decides under Settings how far Auditer goes, from preparing only to filing.
- Keeps the Owner in control: roles, data access by company, year, ledger, godown and cost centre, hidden sensitive figures, approvals and an audit trail.
- Speaks your language: screens and labels in 11 Indian languages.
- Answers how-to questions: the Ask Auditer help assistant.
How it works
- The Auditer Agent runs on the Windows PC that has TallyPrime.
- It syncs the Tally companies you choose, including masters, vouchers, stock and GST details, to Auditer’s cloud on AWS in Mumbai.
- Owners, accountants and staff use the web portal at app.auditer.com and the Android and iOS apps.
- When someone creates an entry in Auditer, the Agent writes it into TallyPrime. The Tally company file stays the books of record.
- If the Tally PC is off, you still see the last synced data. New entries wait, and post when the PC is back online with TallyPrime open.
The PC and your phone do not need to be on the same network; both just need internet. If you are weighing other ways to reach your books, read how to view TallyPrime data on your mobile.
TallyPrime is a trademark of Tally Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Auditer is an independent product and is not affiliated with Tally Solutions.
Who it is for
| You are | What you will use most |
|---|---|
| Owner | Dashboards on the phone, receivables, AI insights, team control |
| Accountant | GST preparation, GSTR-2B matching, e-invoices, entries from anywhere |
| Sales or collection staff | Invoices, orders and receipts on the phone, PDFs, reminders |
| Storekeeper | Stock transfers and adjustments, low-stock and ageing lists |
| CA firm | Clients’ books and GST work, with access the client controls |
Take a pharma distributor in Indore. The owner checks receivables every morning on his phone. Two sales executives create orders at chemists’ shops across the city. The storekeeper records transfers between two godowns. In the office, the accountant sees every entry arrive in TallyPrime and spends the time saved on reconciliations.
What it costs
Auditer is usage-based. You buy prepaid credits at ₹1 per credit, plus 18% GST, and get 10 free credits when you sign up. Viewing data, syncing, reports, dashboards and AI insights are free, and so is the Owner’s seat. You pay for actions: 0.10 credit for each entry posted to TallyPrime or document shared as PDF, 100 credits a month for each additional team member, and set amounts for e-invoices, e-way bills and messages. An Owner with two staff who create 300 entries and share 150 PDFs a month uses about 245 credits a month. See pricing, or read why we charge this way.
How to start
- Sign up at app.auditer.com, or in the app, with your mobile number.
- Download the Auditer Agent on the PC that runs TallyPrime.
- Open TallyPrime with your company, and pair the Agent using the 6-digit code it shows.
- Choose the companies and financial years to sync. The first sync starts on its own.
- Invite your team, with a role and data access for each person.
The getting started guide walks through each step.
How Auditer helps
Auditer puts the books you already keep in TallyPrime on the web and on your phone, so owners see the numbers without waiting and staff can enter sales where they happen. Every entry goes back into TallyPrime, so your accountant keeps one set of books. GST work and payment reminders run from the same data. You decide who sees what, and you pay for what you use.
