1. About this Policy

1.1 This Cookie Policy explains how Alcodes Mobility Private Limited (Alcodes, we, us or our) uses cookies and similar technologies in Auditer. It covers the website at https://auditer.com, the web portal at https://app.auditer.com and the Auditer mobile apps. Please read it with our Privacy Policy.

1.2 You can read this Policy in English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam or Odia. If a translation differs from the English version, the English version governs.

2. What cookies and browser storage are

2.1 A cookie is a small text file that a website saves in your browser. Local storage is a similar browser feature that lets a website keep small amounts of data on your device. In this Policy, “cookies” includes local storage and similar technologies, unless we say otherwise.

2.2 Cookies can be used for different purposes:

Strictly necessary: needed for a site to work or to stay secure, such as keeping you signed in.
Functional: remember your choices, such as your language.
Analytics: help a site owner understand how the site is used.
Advertising or tracking: follow your activity across sites to show you ads.

2.3 We do not use advertising or tracking cookies anywhere in Auditer.

3. Our website (auditer.com)

3.1 Analytics without cookies

3.1.1 We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and pages viewed in aggregate. It does not set cookies, does not use local storage and does not track you across other sites. It shows us totals, such as the number of visits, the pages viewed and the websites that referred visitors, along with broad details such as country, device type and browser.

3.1.2 You can still switch analytics off through the “Cookie preferences” link in the website footer. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we switch analytics off for you automatically.

3.2 What the website stores in your browser

Both are kept in your browser’s local storage. They are not used to identify you.

3.3 Security on the website

Our website is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie when it needs to check that traffic is genuine, for example to protect the site from automated attacks. Such a cookie is not used for advertising or tracking.

3.4 Links to other websites

Our website may link to websites run by others. If you follow such a link, the other website may set its own cookies under its own policies. This Policy does not cover those websites.

4. Our web portal (app.auditer.com)

4.1 The web portal uses only strictly necessary and functional storage. It does not use advertising cookies.

4.2 If you block this storage, you will not be able to sign in to or use the web portal.

4.3 When you buy credits, Razorpay’s checkout opens to process your payment. Razorpay may use its own cookies on its checkout, under its own policies.

5. Our mobile apps

5.1 The Auditer apps for Android and iOS do not use advertising cookies. They store your session securely on your device so that you stay signed in. To end the session, sign out or uninstall the app.

5.2 The apps also use a device push token to deliver the notifications you allow, and send crash reports to help us fix errors. Our Privacy Policy explains these in detail.

6. Managing your choices

6.1 Cookie preferences. Use the “Cookie preferences” link in the website footer to switch analytics on or off at any time. We save your choice in your browser.

6.2 Global Privacy Control. If your browser or an extension sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a choice to switch analytics off.

6.3 Browser settings. Most browsers, including Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, let you see, block and delete cookies and other site data. Look for the privacy or site data settings in your browser, or see its help pages.

6.4 Clearing storage. If you clear your browser storage, the website forgets your cookie choice and language, and you will be signed out of the web portal.

6.5 Blocking strictly necessary storage may stop parts of the website, and all of the web portal, from working.

7. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy when we change how we use cookies or browser storage. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated. If we start using a new type of cookie that needs your consent, we will ask for it first.
