Open TallyPrime with your company, start the Auditer Agent and enter its 6-digit pairing code in the web portal or the app. The first sync starts by itself; after that only the changes travel. The PC and your phone never need to share a Wi-Fi network, because everything goes through the Auditer cloud.

Invoices, receipts, payments and other entries created on the web or phone wait in a queue and are posted into TallyPrime through the Agent. If Tally refuses one, you see Tally's own reason, fix it and try again. An entry is never posted twice.

The Agent backs up your Tally company folders to encrypted cloud storage on a schedule (daily, weekly or monthly) and keeps the latest three. If the Tally PC is lost or replaced, restore the workspace on a new PC once the Workspace Owner approves it.

- 1. Install the Auditer Agent. Download the Windows installer and install it on the PC that runs TallyPrime.
- 2. Open your company in TallyPrime. Keep TallyPrime open with the company loaded. The Agent finds it on Tally's port, 9000 unless you changed it.
- 3. Pair with your workspace. Enter the 6-digit code from the Agent in the web portal (Settings, then Tally Sync) or in the mobile app.
- 4. Let the first sync finish. Your books appear on the web and in the app as soon as it completes.

Frequently asked questions
Tally sync is the link between TallyPrime and Auditer. A small Windows app, the Auditer Agent, reads the companies you choose (masters, vouchers, stock and GST details) and keeps the web portal and mobile apps up to date. Syncing, backups and restore are free.
Which version of Tally does Auditer work with?
Auditer works with TallyPrime on Windows. The Auditer Agent connects to TallyPrime's built-in server on the same PC, on port 9000 unless you changed it.
Does TallyPrime have to be open for sync?
Yes. The Agent reads from and posts to TallyPrime while it is running with the company open. When Tally is closed, the web portal and apps still show your data as of the last sync, and new entries wait until Tally is back.
Is my data moved out of TallyPrime?
No. TallyPrime stays your books of record and your company files stay on your PC. Auditer keeps a synced copy so you can see and work with your books elsewhere.
What happens if the internet drops?
The Agent retries on its own. Entries made in the apps wait in the queue and are posted when the PC is back online.
Can I sync more than one company?
Yes. Add any company that is open in TallyPrime and choose its financial years. Each company appears separately on the web portal and in the apps.
